back from a camping trip with a few mates.

weather was very changable and we got the odd soaking, but had some nice walks, and got a few good pics

this one is over looking blee tarn, little langdale and is deffinatly no a walk for fatties, u need to take back pack off to get through this small gap,

i know it doesnt look like it but its infact 3 vertical shots stitchedtogether shot at widest angle lens would allow as there was just no room to stand back

next up is from higher showing a wider view of blea tarn

and next is the langdale pikes, early morning with cloud rolling around them

both the above are muti shot panoramas

got more to come but thats all i have editied so far

our accomodation

had the bbq's under the gazebo as it was raining quite heavily, as it did most of the night, but food and beer lessens the impact of rain

Hey Gary,

Looking from the photos It seems that you had a good trip in the langdales. I suppose the weather serves as a mixed blessing, bit uncomfortable walking when wet but it really makes for some dramatic photographyas you have demonstrated well!

thanks all

weather can be unpredictable, as long as u got the proper clothes your ok, the hills are very high and wind chill is the problem when u are on top and wet. making sure u take plent of dry clothes for when ur back at tent is important too

this shot contains, what could be the most dangerous "path" in the lakes, it runs up the 300 foot rock face diagonal from bottom right to top left. one slip and your dead, its realy quite insane, did it once, wont do it again, safer to walk round !!

and another very wide shot, the rock face above can be seen if u follow stream up the hill (in middle of shot), u cannot see the water in front though. the ibg version looks great :-)
