When daisies pied and violets blue
and lady-smocks all silver-white
and cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight.

(From Love's Labor Lost; cuckoo-buds are buttercups)

I never cared much for sonnets, until I spent some time trying to write them. Then, I understood.

One establishes the tension for all those lines, and then resolves it in a single couplet. That coupletbetterbe a good one, if one is writing it for one's lady.

But if it is a good one, the results are worth all the effort. :G

Now, I know some people who write poetry best when they fall in love! Do you think the same applies to photography then ?? : )
