Gallatin

Great picture. Hope you don´t mind me asking. The open birch hardwood forest (don´t know the words for it) - is it in any way touched by man? -

Hi Torgny -

Thx for the comments. The forest is not touched by man. It's protected inside Yellowstone National Park:

Gallatin,

In the north of my country there is a vast forest called "Muddus", a laplandish name. It is protected.

The strange thing is that when you walk around there, with a map and a compass, you can almost think it is a park made by humans; if it wasn´t for the logs/dead trees, that is.

Explanation: when nature cultivates itself there is a balance in the eco system that enables species to live in harmony. What do you think, any thoughts on that?
