Cabbage white butterflies, quite possibly the most common butterfly in N. America.

Fuji S6000fd + Sony 1.7x TCon = 510mm zoom, argh, where's the IS? :blah:

ISO 200, 1/900s, F8... I believe I had the EV set to -1 1/3

More than sharp enough. For my taste it is just the right amount of detail in the background. This picture tells a story thanks to the background. I like this picture very much. Thank you for posting

Very nice imageto go with thetasteful topic name As it is mentioned,one can see noneed for IS thanks to your decent setting (ISO 200, 1/900s) despite the considerable focal length.

I also likedTorgny's crop variation! I'd even suggest just a little more cropping from the lefthandside making the reddish stemthe border of the pictureat thecorner...
