Thanks Don and v12 for your comments. Don, I was indeed up Banff way...this is Peyto Lake off the Icefields Parkway headed toward Jasper. v12 the settings were as follows:
D80 w/ Nikkor 18-70 DX lens 1/20 s exposure F/16 iso 100 Aperture priority mode 1 stop compensation Matrix metering Polarizing filter Thanks again for your kind words guys |

Great compositionwith mountain ranges flanking the distance as far as eye can see... I am also thrilled by theturquoise (Turkish:-))colour of the lake:!:
