Another pano from Hartland, this time looking west down the rocky coastline.

In times gone by this coastline was notorioius for "wreckers": folks who would lure passing ships onto the rocks with false lights so they could steal the cargo from the wreck. Makes me shudder to think of it....

John.

Oh, I see, thisvery coast might have been the last beautiful thing many a mariner saw...Sadly, so far humanexperience is full ofreal tragedies which make up the statistical numbers we read in history!

I too would like to be in this dramatic location displayedin yourmasterly pano

Very nice John. I like the way the path leads away, and suggests, you have to take this to get to the end of the adventure....Don

I like the way the path is there from the left, then you are greeted with so much depth of the water and hills.

Perfect pano technique you have there John, you should be proud! Top shot

Seems like you have a great location to shoot there. Those rocks leading out to sea at the bottom right of the shot could make great compositional aids for a pano a little nearer to the water. Grab your wellies though!!

You'd need your rock climbing gear as well to get down there ! :blah:

Thanks for all the comments folks, John.
