I envy you. Your right about the timing. (Also just before and right after sunset.) Cooler air and warmer water creates the mist. Nice location!!

Thank you very much, I am quite lucky I can walk to this spot in less than five minutes.

I am fascinated by the sight of the morning mist on the polished surface of the enchanted lake as well as the cloudsretaining thedreamy colours of the daybreak

Btw, thanks for the tip ; )

Beautiful. The sharpness of the vegetation in the foreground... And the morning fog of course. When does the sun rise where you live?

Beautiful Bob.... and you're so right. Just before sunrise, and just after...although I find the sunsets can linger much longer than the preceding skies of the sunrise...cheers...Don

Bob,

Again you've captured a great photo- this "lake & sunrise" one is marvellous imho!

Great powerful "streams" of coloured clouds.

In my experience also, the few minutes just before sunrise can be magical. I even remember that (before I had a camera) on the east coast of Tasmania... (or the Black Sea in Romania!)

thanks for sharing your landscape magics!

Cheers
