I saw this path which has only just been recently lit (well only recently noticed!)

And I think it turned out rather well (with some cloning out of the CCTV camera sign...)

Apologies if the photo is rather slow to load - I blame imageshack myself...

The path reallycompells the beholderfor awalkinto the realm of shadowsfollowing the direction theilluminated tree points to,as s/he's leaving behind the beautiful foregroundof crispedautumn leaves...An image suggestingmany aninspiration each time you look at!

A wonderful picture - congratulations. I tried cropping off some of the top of the picture (and a bit from one side) so that I coould concentrate on looking at the path & leaves -

Thanks - I'm just experimenting with a black and white cropped version at the moment...

So many variations - so little time!

Ok - here's the results of the B&W cahnges, I think I prefer the bigger pic because I like the tree to the left, not sure about the amount of foreground though. If I try to crop the foreground a bit more it doesn't really 'add anything'...

I like them both, but the B&W is the one that grabs my attention.

This is really a great photo. You explore its potentials. Seems to me there are two pictures in one. Hope I donĀ“t "kill your darling"

Your second black and white is the best one

Thak you
