I didn't alter the clouds, or paste anything in. This is what they looked like. Odd.

They look a form of altostratus clouds. Very cool formation.

Hi Barbarian,

Great photo, well captured interesting cloud formation! It's remarkable how "separate" some of those clouds are, despite mirroring the others' shapes and positions!

Also you've done a good job with exposure and colour.

I particularly like the fact that several of the clouds have "two tone" colour (white and grey).

Definitely chemtrails left by a passing fleet of UFO's. If only you couldhave taken this shot one second earlier.

hahaha, I have to agree, if only you could turn the clouds 90degrees, it would have definetly been some message from AT&T & UFO Spacecrafts alike!

This technical term a formation of this type isaltocumulus standing lenticularis. Often formed by air currents over rugged terrain. Common name, lenticular clouds, how appropriate for a photo forum.
