Hi Gisli!

Both very interesting shots.

I'll have to vary from public opinion and say that my preference is for the second photo. Maybe the composition as well as the more monochrome nature suggest an "eerie" feeling, which gives the impression of a hut hiding something inside (or behind it, between the hut and the hill partly obscured in the background).

It's a powerful image to me... who knows it must just be a mirror of something I've seen in my life (or in a dream) that just makes the 2nd image speak just a bit more "special" to me.!! Great we're all individuals.

And both are wonderful photos.

I feel no desire to choose an image. I see three different aspects of the same memorable scene, and I want more, please. Not necessarily of this one, but of all your wonderful surroundings, Gisli. I bet it's getting cold. We got the first breath this year-end of your air this morning, and it's cold.
