My wife and I chaperoned a field trip for our son's wildlife biology class. I was there primarily to photograph the students as they studied the area for a local rancher looking to repair the negative effects of his ranch on the land/wildlife.

You can just see one of the students ducking behind a tree in the center.

Among your recentfour posts I am especially inspired by this one in which sunlightleads the traveller, as a hiking fan: ) Not an easyshot against the sun though!Ah, there's been a few times I also attended my daughter'sschool trips to photographand to inform them!

Hope you don't mind my editing a few distracting elements (so sorry for the student behind the tree, btw!)

I'd like the student to be peeping at the photographer from behind the tree, myself, but I failed to create it successfully!

The picture reminds me well of the big trees in far-away forests.

Thanks both of you for your kind comments.

We are looking to take another trip with the class, which is now outdoor survival. We will be going to Mt Bachelor (famous for it's skiing, deep with snow and thick withpine trees) and I'm hoping to get some great pics up there. My a700 will be here by then so it will give me a chance to get to know it.

Thanks again!

Brian
