I have only seen these cacti in the mere moonlight when we passed through at night on our way to Mesa to pick upa motorcycle for me. It was quick trip and we had no time for any side trips. I will have to get back out there again. I have a brother who lives in Phoenix that I just reunited with after 30 yrs........

Mandy: with your eye for natural beauty I think you would have a great time in Arizona! Let me know if you head out this way and I will point you in the right direction.

Here is one more .... these are from a preserve/park just a little north of downtown Phoenix. The saguaro seem to blend into the landscape ... easy to miss if you don't look for them!

Thanks for taking a look.

Drew

Definitely a place I need to visit. Our Jeeps seem to get stuck on the SW corner of Colorado. Thanks for the offer and I will let you know if we do head that way. Thanks for the compliment as well. You need to come east into Colorado during the wildflower season in the San Juans. You would have a great time. Happy Hour is every night at the KOA in Ourayafter along day of photops in the mountains.

Thank you Bynx!

I will post some pics of the Saguaro when they flower this spring.
