Default Sunset problem

Last week on vacation, I took about 15 sunset photos. I have a reflection in about 6 of them. What should I have done to prevent this?

As far as I know u should keep the aperture as small as possible to try to avoid this kind of things.

However u should have a tripod to take a shot like that with a small aperture : i think shutter speed will unavoidably go below 1/30 and in this case is very diffucult not to move.
Unless u can lean very steadily on a fence or on a wall.

However PS comes to your help.
You can easily remove that using the Clone Stamp tool.
