Our local radio station sponsered a polar plunge today, I took this while waiting on those brave folks to jump in the water.

I really like the way the old log anchors this photo and leads you in. The people have got to be nuts, but we all are to an extent. I like the BW....

Thank you Mandy! You are right about those guys being nuts ! It was in the low 20s and windy, here they are in action.

Very tasteful B&W, as ever, BobThe log'sdiagonal positioning, as well as humbly fitting the rule of the thirds, do not go unnoticed : )

Btw, here's a tip from an old plunger:G: Very cold water makes your skin feel as if burning for a while!!

Really like the B&W shot, very well done remainds me of B&W gallaery work from the flim days.

As for jumping into freezing cold water, did it once by accident, slipped on a boat ramp and slid all the way into the water through the ice. It was not any fun at all.

Thank you Bahadir and Calicajun! Bahadir, you are much braver than I, like Calicajun it would have to be a accident for me to get in that cold water.
