this is one of the best shots i have gotten out of my kit lens on my canon xt!



what do you think? im open for suggestions!

I see we have something in common, photographing sunrises and sunsets. Nice shot! A couple of things that work for me are shooting just before the sun breaks on the horizon or wait till it is behind a cloud if it is already up, and meter on a area that is midway between the darkest and lightest area in your composition. Keep them coming!

yeh thanks for the critique!

i just was trying to get a marshy feel for the foreground of the image if you know what im saying!

but yes im gettin a 70-200 f4 L soon!!!!!!!!!! so hopefully a lot sharper pictures including my landscapes!

IMO, no desire requires less excuse than this : ) Especially when the fascinating frost on the grass and the waters at a Valentine's dawn is considered

Thus I went a further effort tobe able todo more justice to xiggy's marshy foreground!
