Hi Ollie

Great hues of sunsetting glory over the Brindabella ranges, mate. I have yet to get to Canberra ever... but it looks like my work (with Medicare Australia) will take me there ... to our national office sometime.

Love the rolling hills feeling... Super job on the stitching too. Do you live in our out of the suburbs?

One word describes this photo in my opinion "Excellent"! I love the silhouette
and those rolling hills are awesome.

With a view like that from your balcony, how do you ever get anything done?

Thanks all for your comments - very poetic Bahdir. Paul, I have recently moved from the burbs of Canberra to a house 5 minutes over the New South Wales border in the town of Queanbeyan. The house is up on the side of a hill and I get fabulous views over Canberra and the ranges. The sunsets are many and varied.

Also, here's a tighter crop on the image. I think it makes a better pic.

Cheers, Ollie

i love the golden light and the subtle shadings... the "layers" of color and the different heights of the hills add a marvelous sense of depth. very nicely done!
