The other side of the pier is solid ice ot 1/4 mile, but the channel side is kept clear for the iron-ore and coal boats. The sun's setting on what had been a great evening of photographing my kids, but here I just let the pier and the sun have their say.

Nice shot, really like the way you have to look to find the Sun peeking through the pier.
