... figure out why things are as they are or why they are where they are. Sometimes I have to say "Who Cares?"

Such is theneatness of the image that I almost felt the smell of the rock!!:-)Btw, I see dialing down the contrastworks well with the 510 (especiallyfor pulling off contrasty scenes)

I'd only crop off from the left for a less centred image (the good old rule of the thirdsworks here, imo!)

Thank you bahadir. I can always count on you for a fair and kind comment. Does this work a little better? And yes on the 510 saving the processing for software seems to work better in many instances.

Hey, I was afraid to scroll down the image lest itdidn't scratch the screen of my computer :-)As far as Iknow turning off the on board anti noise in the Olympus you can get insanely detailed images, perhaps, partlythanks to the 4:3 aspect of the sensor!

Btw, thanks foryour kindcredit! Actually we're doing somewhat difficult thing commenting on each others' pictures (or should I say digital data:G)given the different calibration, resolution and dynamic range of the screens..

As for your edit, the rock looks visibly more vivid now! (Still, not sure whichversionis more faithful to what you saw at the time of shooting..) IMO, you needn't crop off from the bottom. Just a littlefrom the lefthandside such as below would suffice.
