Hi Gisli

Wow, spectacular scenery... lovely clear skies with that white snow beneath.

But don't you guys EVER have summer... it doesn't even look like there is a hint of spring there?

I'm curious, how tall is that mountain? (how many metres above sea level)

I've never seen (or heard of a Pisten Bully) before... I guess it's a useful form of transport up there.

Thanks for sharing. I particularly like photo 1!! (though maybe it's just a tad overexposed). The wide landscape view is great!

Following the route you drew on your third picture I see that the Pisten Bully has done its job well bringing you to a place where you can see eternity in #4 best

Btw, I guessit's a lake (not a frozen one though(?)I see to the right of your first picture...

Thanks guys :-)bahadir the lake on the right is the ocean it's the fjord I live in Olafsfjordur. Believe me everything not salted is frozen up here:-)The mountain I was standing on has 3 sides north east and vest straight out of the ocean. The PB was struggling allot about half the way we almost quit there.

Gisli:-)
