On way myhome from the nearby town of Selçuk, I stopped by the ancientprophecy center of Claros...A boy looking at his own reflection at the Apollo temple there inspired me to entitle the picture Narcissus of Claros!

Happy toread your kind wordsconcerning the images displayingour common legacy, arkadaş!

The first picture was actually an HDR.The following three pics.are allregular jpeg. Ah, in summer I, too, will berevisitinganother Apollo Temple in Didyma(as with the deities they were dedicated to, twin brother to the Artemis Temple in Ephesus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world)

Btw, we still use the phrase 'Apollo-like' as an adjective for someone we admire among friends :-)

Thank you for dropping by my friend : )Sometimes the undergroundwater can be high enough to callfor drainage work. And archeological sites areprone to natural conditions to requiresome excavationscontinue under shelter! Actually, although the artifacts inMesopotamia, at least, as old as the ones in Egypt, due to the perishable material they were made of such as mud brick exposed to natural conditions, most couldn't stand as strong or even survive) :
