I was on my way to work this morning just after 6am as the sun was comming up over Lake Cannon. I had to park my motorcycle and dig out my camera...
no pp except noise rduction. standard kit lens, iso400 1/15 a2 F:4.5

"The early bird gets it all" is the idiomatic expression, isn't it. At least we can get a fair amount of it, like in this picture from your canera

Your kind words are like a breath of fresh air, it's been a rough week. So glad it's the week end now!

I have been traveling this route to work and back for several years but, just recently changed my hours so this was the first time I got to see this myself. In person, the cross seemed so much bigger... but I'm pleased it turned out OK. I was concerned it would be too blurred at 1/15 sec. shutter speed and being hand held.
My other concern was that it would look as good on your monitors as it does on mine. I just got a new one and it is so much brighter than my old one, I wonder if I calibrated it properly or not!
