Went climbing at Smith Rocks Oregon. The view from our campsite just as the sun set in the notch. Panasonic FZ18.

I thought it was pretty amazing, given that we have climbed in Yosemite and all over the world.

Nice shot! That's about 10 miles from my house, and I rarely go there...guess I prefer the mountains more.

It's an amazing time of the day when the treetops catch the reddish sunlights as in your picture! Oh, descendingto valleys is a part of the climbing sometimes : )For such occasions the panny makes a lighter and therefore more preferable alternative for you compared to yourpentax gear,I suppose...

Btw, your picture in the'July Monthly Challenge' gives a good clue about your interest

Thanks for the comments. The FZ18 does go with me on the hiking adventures. It is now, however, in for repairs for dirty sensor. I play, I pay.
