Have not posted here for some time. Thought I would share this pix.

Couple of nites ago I went out to walk my dogs. Only to find an amazing light show off to the west, a passing storm. Needless to say the dogs didn't get much of a walk... I tore back into the house, got my cam and sticks. I was lucky enough to capture one....

Amazing nature scenery. Suppose you had a hard time deciding how much detail in the dark areas you would like to show. Great picture

Thanks Torgny, I see what you mean...

When I processed the image the foreground had a bit of tone to it, that was on my home puter but when I view it at my work site it is totally different all black in the foreground, ..... I suppose the monitor at work is not calibrated the same or different resolution or something??? A major problem with online media. Thanks for the reply.

Looks like you haven't added this onethe 'Scape's gallery' yet, where one can observesomemore examplesof dramatic skies you shot
