Captured this sunset while on my way to meet my wife. Something told me to take my camera with me, lucky I did :-)

Thanks for looking!

That's really a very good capture tosupport the phrase 'New York is an exciting city!', my friend

It harmonizes the valley-like apartment silhouttes, the busy city life and the dramatic evening sky quite well! Still, I think, anoveralltwo step unsharp mask and a selective histogram levels job for the'cityfeatures only' would emphasize the mood!

My pleasure, dear Chris : ) I'm happy to hear it worked for you!

Below is a screenshot which demonstrates levels histogram after selecting the city features with the Quick Selection Tool, which leaves room, as you see,for the white slider on the right @ 255 to move to the left, well...ignoring abit ofcolour information. Then you maydarken the distractingparts of the buildings with the burn tool.

Hope this helps! Please do not hesitate to PM also if you wish further elaboration : )

Thanks Bahadir! Don't know why I keep forgetting about the Quick Selection Tool Next time I'll use it! :-)

EDIT Just realized I don't see the quick selection tool in CS2 I use the quick mask tool last night to get a pretty close match to what you did :-)
