Wow, spy... a wonderful photo indeed!

As the others have said, you've presented a wonderful scene here! Well done.

Just goes to show, often the best photos take a lot of conscious effort / thought and special circumstances (5:30am!! 8 second exposure).

Is the "cowboy and his horse" a metalic statue lit up by a floodlight?

Where is the snow? Was this taken recently... I guess in winter, if you say the sun will rise around 8:30am! Was it cold?!! brrrr.. Where is the snow?

Here in Australia we're having a HOT summer.

I love the halo sort of effect that the rider is heading towards.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks to Squirl, Mark and Paul!

Paul, it was taken just last week or so ago and it was mighty cold. The wind was houling but where I was standing, I had some shelter from the big rocks around. The statue is made up of some type of metalic substance and yes, it was lit up by lamps in the ground.

There's not much snow at this spot as we've had a break from it for a while and what did fall around has melted or blew away.

Thanks to everyone for all the comments!!

Kevin
