On a recent trip to the coast we decided to take a drive to see if we could find any Grey Whales migrating north. We stopped at a high vista point were I snapped these.

Desolate and beautiful. Down here (So. Calif) its action all the time. Couldn't take a shot of an abandoned beach except maybe 5:30 a.m., but then, there are all those runners. Nice shots, Steve.

Oh, they are painting-like pictures, Steve! I especially liked #2 compositionwise.
