Thanks Steve. I've always been a fan of Bob Seger. I think you are right about the "long lonely highway"....... East of Omaha......

Your second two pictures are also wonderful. I love the green with the fading yellow light of the last one. We see very little green - maybe only a couple of weeks a year, and I always marvel at meadows/pastures like that.

One of these days I'll make it over to your side of the country again.

Oh, such beautiful landscape photos. Congratulations. There are two seasons that you can see that variety of colours, fall and spring. The difference is that you have to be faster in the spring. Soon the variety disappears in the massiveness of summer

Anyway, I'd welcome such a trend as long as it allows a means ofaccess into relatively 'stable' realm of the signifying image, since what varies, is the 'signified' between the observer and the context (or image in our case), and the signified is internal for the perceiver...
