The fifth is by far my favorite, though the second is amazing the way you've managed to catch the perfect ripple and the single drop of water falling from the ducks beak...

If only the third was sharper...

Good photography should convey a feeling to the viewer, without prior comment. The two that do this for me are #4 and #5. I got chills just viewing them! Robert

thanks for your reaction ; I agree, I would have liked the 3rd one sharper but it was a lucky shot...the birds were flying over while I was doing some close-up...no time for adjusting the camera just point shoot and hope...5th is my favorite as well

thanks for your kind reaction ; it's nice to share and get this kind of response ! I agree, the feeling is the most important in a split second one knows if the picture has it...or not

An eye pleasing, subtle composition there in #5! Quite hearth warming despite the chilling setting : ) I find the the sign at the end of the path writing 6 a bit distracting though, and therefore could be clonned out. Again, very good job mate!

Thanks Bahadir for your kind words. I like no.5 as well because it's a typical dutch scene : a whole familiy on skates and a guy in the distance riding his bike against the wind !
I know what you mean about the sign, I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it. There's two reasons I did : I like the hint of color it adds to the picture, and in general I don't like (personally) to edit stuff in or out of a picture. Thanks againg for viewing and replying !
