Default Perfect morning

It was a "picture" perfect early morning today--virtually no wind and just enough clouds to provide treat reflections. A windless day doesn't happen too often around here!

Lucky you were there Such beautiful morning scenes with eye pleasing reflections indeed! Oh, I too envy the perfect stillness in some fellow members' pictures as a windless day doesn't often happen around here either : )

Below, I simply intended to emphasize the reflections out of my appreciation of your original. Hope you don't mind : )

I don't mind at all--I really like the increased intensity of the reflections.
Thanks for your help!

That kind of serene is sort of a dream to me.
I've travelled around the states, crossing 37 states whilst there...
definitely one of the most calming places i've seen, and i'm sure it's due to you're composition... great job!

where is that btw ?

I took this picture a few miles from my home in central Kansas. This is the downstream pond area of Milford Lake. Milford is a Corps of Engineers project with about 120 miles of shoreline, so it offers a lot of areas for pictures.
It IS unusual to have this calm a day in Kansas though, so I always appreciate a day like this when I'm not working so I can get up early and take advantage of the light to capture the calm! I spent several hours at this general location, some of it just sitting on the bench and enjoying the serenity. Thanks for your comment. Angie
