I love this shot that suggests peacefulness. It draws you into the scene, and B&W works quite well.

I agree with Walter. A very strong image indeed.

The wide angle draws the viewer in, and evokes questions about the structure, and the people associated with it.

Very strong image. Not pretty, but strongly compelling.

shadokachr,

Drawn in, is the right description. I'll try it myself. Perhaps in dark forests. Great to see the absence of a garden. What could be more compelling than the "natural order". Great image. Would like to live there and wake up early, early

Henry David Thoreau comes to my mind. His adventures at Walden - first class summer reading

Ditto everyone else. Great capture and I love that it's b/w.

Yes, Thoreau is a great summer read, and perfect for this image of a forgotten home being claimed by nature.
Thanks!

Thanks Mandy!
It was a cloudy day so I adjusted my monochrome settings to add a red filter and drove until I needed my GPS to get back home.

Those are the best outings......drive til you have to go home. We don't have a GPS and love getting in a rut of which way do we go. LOVE it though.
