Default American Basin-Columbine

This was taken about an hour before sunset in the American Basin. The basin sits off Cinnamon Pass in the San Juans of Colorado. We spent all day here just sitting and taking it all in. The wind was blowing pretty bad but I managed to get this photo taken.

Thanks for looking.
Mandy

Another true landscape photograph from you Mandy with remarkable exposure (...along with the neat flowers @ 2'' exposed to the blowing wind, made me think you might have applied some exposure blending!)

My humble suggestion for your already beautiful capture is assigning the flowers offering a high contrast a bit to the righthanside (such as below) so as not to interrupt the the pleasurable journey of the gaze into the valley while preserving their crucial prominence in terms of composition : ) Oh, hope you don't mind.

Oh bahadir.....thank you so much. I did no exposure blending on this. It truly was blowing like crazy. I also cropped a bit to move the flowers to the right bottom corner and not sure why I didn't post that one...oh well. Glad you enjoyed this. I certainly am.....it is taking me back to the day spent enjoying the beauty.
