Default Morning at the lake

I was up early Saturday morning and went down to the lake to catch the sunrise, as it's rays warmed the cool water.

How peaceful the mist rising from the water is. I would normally be at our usual vacation lake holiday around now looking over the water seeing the mist as well....I hope I can still make it.

Nice reflection of the trees in the water.

Sleep is highly over rated. I am up very early and out shooting pics, before the Mrs. is awake. Most of the time she never knows I was gone....

Yea, 'Sleep' (Hypnos) who is the brother of 'Death' (Thanatos) even in mythology, is highly over rated... Btw, I should also add that your picture reminds me a well known photograph by Talbot in 1840: Trees with Reflections.
