Default Albany western Australia

I not really into landscapes but on occasion will do some. These are taken with a canon 40D and 17-40 F4 L lens. These are shots around my hometown, late winter early spring.

aladyforty,

Excellent collection from ...town. You invite the viewer by providing entries making it possible to enter into the pictures without getting your feet wet or risking to drown

Those pictures make you feel welcome. Wish I was there. Feels like I've been there already

The 17-40. I'm still learning it

Hi aladyforty

Sweet shots here. I particularly like the 6th shot (2nd last) - has a lot to keep drawing my eye in.

The cow / green pastures is also nice - colours especially. Just maybe (at least to my eyes) the foreground is not as sharp as the midground / background (maybe a DOF issue).

It captures some scenes from round Albany that I remember, except it was drier when I was there. Looks somewhat like Adelaide does here (green, with skies).

Are these HDR? Sky and cloud dynamic range in the first 4 photos is very good.

Judging from the first four images especially, I can say that your HDR proccessing made your tasteful compositions even more striking, Julie!
