Default Through the day & night...

Steadiness of the fisherman the before and during the moonrise (even fitting the chilliness!!) was also worth noticing imo, ah, as the sight finally started to remind the observer of the Moon River...

(addition) You might have barely noticed a piece of the rising moon beyond the summits in #1. This is just after five minutes or so...

The night shot needed use of a tripod. Some unusual focusing there. The fisherman is quite sharp but most else suffers from camera shake. What a spot.

I like the feel of the second shot, but agree with Bynx that it is a touch soft. Very peaceful looking area, my friend.

Thank you for the kind feedback! A few cool beer after a swim sure helps the composition : )

Thank you my friend. That spot, just a 20 minutes drive from home, is one of my favourites for a swim and then a moderate feast : ) Ah, despite the well equipped table, conditions for photography considering the lack of a tripod and the existance of a non-ending breeze at night wasn't greatest Now, what lies behind the fisherman appearing comperatively quite sharp could be that; the foreground flowers were too close to be in focus for an aperture of f/8, the smallest aperture I could try given the lighting, and the exposure time wasn't short enough for the constantly moving boat.

Looking at Yahoo today and they featured a photo of the open mouth of a large crocodile who is residing in a zoo in Izmir Turkey.

Really looks like a nice spot to sit and have a "drink". Thanks for sharing.

LOL! That reminded me what my dentist once told me as a compliment(!!) for the large teeth I might have inherited from a far off pirate ancestor of mine Well, joke aside we have a nice natural life park here in Izmir founded by the manicipality a pano picture of which, if memory serves, I posted in C&T forum.

Happy to read your kind comment, Mandy. Actually, such is the joy of sitting and drinking there that one might even 'strangely' forget about shooting

Cheers!
