Default At the Lake

Tourists come here from all over the world to see the famous Lake Louise nestled high in the Rocky Mountains just 2.5 hours west of Calgary. My wife and I married here 22 years ago in front of this lake. So it's nice to come to feel not only how calm and majestic it is but to remember our wedding day.

A very nice B&W. Good DOF and perspective of this familiar scene. Weddings here are obviously made to last.

Kevin,

Remarkable, expressionistic picture.

Was just going to post some pictures in the sports section, "Kayak" but after this masterpiece..., perhaps I'll still do it Or here perhaps.

You have shown enough pictures to form an exhibition. Do it. They should be seen by the "average Joe" (stupid expression) or rather strollers by

Red - njae, this is reality although very expressionistic. Red would put it down to a much lower league

Splendid, spy

A timeless image indeed which reminded me works of High Art Photography movement in photography of the mid 19th century thanks to the great composition, postprocessing and the aspect ratio also!

Ah, well, I'll have to agree with Walter's remark about weddings, since I had also arranged mine in a small village on the slope of the mountains where I loved climbing
