Or boardwalk as our American cousins would say...
This is in Southport near Liverpool and was taken around the end of July this year. I have a real thing for sunsets and am always chasing them. I like the way the sun reflects on the wooden decking on this one, i was really chuffed with it.. Nikon D90: Nikon 18-105Vr: f-22: 1/125sec: 105mm Hand Held...

nice composition. the lines really lead you in, and the golden colors reflecting off the wood and metal is very nice. nice one.

Well composed sunset with nice Vanishing Point and beautiful, smooth and strong colors.
Those metal tracks look like silver and that wooden deck looks like its made out of mahogny and polished! Very well executed - congratulations! ... |

To be frank, I got soooo burned out on sunsets over the last year or so. But, THIS... exquisite!

Looks like we are looking down through the bones of an old whale carcass.

It does look a little like bones yeah, there are no people because it's closed off in
the evening, unfortunately not everyone would go to the end just to admire the view. I shot it through the metal gates that are about half way down the pier.. Cheers for all the comments
