Robert,

Many of the great authors and poets depict in words dramatic scenes to emphasize the moods of people. The last picture is Shakesperian to me

Seems to me anyhow a more healthy way than to dig into the foggy depths of people

Great pictures, Robert

Your first shot really makes one look right into the sun. Your second one is a puzzler. You have bands of clear, noisy, sharp then out of focus, then sharp, then out of focus. A real odd one. Your third one hasnt got many interesting shapes or colors in the clouds. I guess Id like to see more contrast between the stormy part and the unstormy part. Some might complain about the red fringing on the tops of the trees in your second shot but I actually like it.

If you have seen one, you have seen them all....

Thats what a lot of poeple say, but for me, a sunset is always a welcomed picture. Mind you, its got to be one that takes you and shakes you.

Your's are that kind.

Emotional and glowing. Even though, my favorite is the last one really, because its so different.

Somehow it reminds me of Michelangelo and his ceiling paintings in the Sistine Chapel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sistine_Chapel_ceiling I don't know why?

I was going to write 'sixteenth chapel' but stopped and checked by Google....it is Sistine Chapel.

Also - looking at the last one - I can almost hear the music from "Götterdämmerung" by Richard Wagner! It would be a suitable picture to hear this music to....

Torgny suggested a crop for picture number two, so here it is...

I really like your last shot. I always try a few different exposures when shooting sunsets to get that special one.
Can't remember who put me onto this site but worth a look for those future sunset shots.
