First photo might be missleading, I meant to wright first photo in this forum. This is a picture that I took a little while back and thought it was rather dull. I then heard of the Orton - effect and thought I would give it a go. I'm still experimenting with the Orton - effect, but it is gives some pictures pretty cool effect.

Its done something to this pic. But unfortunately the blown out areas still ruin it for me.

The sky is overexposed and takes out the tops of the trees. The white overexposed areas on the pathway have taken out all the nice details that are there Im sure.

I see what you mean. I'll have to see if I can find a way to avoid this when applying the Orton effect.
