Default Colours in a Sunset

A few weeks ago I had been clearing my gutters of leaves. I went in to have a meal, and came out after dinner to see a lovely variety and display of colours in the sky of the spring sunset.

Thankfully my ladder was still up against the roof of my house, so I grabbed my camera, attached the Sigma 10-20mm lens. Climbed on top of my roof and captured this image.

I just love all the different colours (yellow, orange, grey, blue) - and I feel the silhouette of the trees in my neighbourhood act as a fairly good natural border at the bottom.

Your thoughts?

Paul

You did it again. Doing well what others keep trying. Keep it up.

Acapulco... thanks for bringing honour to my photo.... I loved the Lion King movie when I saw it many years ago.

vvcarpio - as long as you're praying to the Creator (not me!) Thanks for appreciating the beauty it can show.

Very classy. I can see this one hung on a wall. Good job at preserving the highlights.

Holy ****, now this is a fantastic pic - I would instantly make a poster of it and hang it on a wall

Abolutely terrific - the colours are awesome, I also love the silhouettes of the trees!
