Taken with my Panasonic FZ-28: Aperture priority at f 7.10 / exp.time = 1/250th / focal length = 9.8mm = the equivalent of 55mm

As if the enormous ices hesitated for a while, grunting, when they struck gold, and then moved on, knowing the job wasn't finished yet.

(Sorry for the anthropomorphisms; just couldn't resist. On the other hand there is an author and philosopher, Lars Gustafsson, well worth respect, currently teaching in a Texan university. He expresses it this way: rocks live too, but at a much, much, much slow ow ower pace)
