Default The Shack

I noticed the setting of this place early this morning as I was driving around. The trees, the lighting and the buildings in the back made this scene look creepy and wanted to capture its mood.

Spookly wonderful!

I don't know if spookly is a word. But I'm just waiting for a ghost to come flying out of the shack.

You have given it a nice twist.

Look at the log it just smashed into the fence. The photo's not only creepy it's violent, too. Great shot!

I suspect you titled it "The Shack" because it does look like the cover for the book.

Thanks for commenting. Vvcarpio, I did think of the book "The Shack" when I titled it. This photo represents a place in ones inner soul at times of lament. When no hope is felt. This photo is very close to me as it meant what my life was like at a very young age experiencing a horrible and violent home. I've read the book "The Shack" and though it was written as a fiction, it described my struggle with God, with parents, with reconciling (in part) what was and having to make life changes for a better today.

I recommend the book "The Shack" to anyone dealing with trauma, loss, abuse and the like. Though it is fiction, the reading of it will encourage and be that leverage needed to move through if you find yourself stuck.
