Dwayne,

very cool shot (excuse the pun). You have really captured the beauty of nature in a very nice way, the soft orton effect works nicely with the subdued winter tones in this one, and enhances the frigid feeling of the ice.

As usual - perfection the "Dwayne-way".

You just shattered a misconception I had, that white og bright areas won't work with an Orthon-effect, and that all Orthon-pictures should be dark and mysteriouse. You proofed otherwise. This is very, very good!

Amazing what nature is capable of. Look at this little group of small and very white (and sharp!) icicles on the rock-wall, and the one's underneath the "table"!

Art of nature working with the cold and you taking a proof of it. Works very well.

Dwayne,

Read an article why it's so hard to make photos of icicles with a digital (as opposed to an analog ) camera. Especially close and in bright light! Don't remember the explanation, but this sure is a way to do it
