Great series, Walter - these are all beautiful pictures, even the non-HDR's

It's hard to choose one as a favourite, but I think #5 is it for me - just that special moment before the sun comes out... really nice, Walter!

BTW, don't want to be a nuisance - have you seen my latest PM?

Thank's maggo85 - even the non-HDR's ehh? LOL

Well sometimes, when there is not enough contrast in the takes, there is really no reason to use HDR. Besides, I wanted to keep the silky smoothness of the first picture.

Regarding your PM - I have read it, and your father will get the original a.s.a.p. and I have found two other shots from the same place, with some more landscape besides the fountain as well. Have to scan them and send them.

No nuisance - no problem!

i really love this set walter. once the rays of the sun came out to play, you got some real stunners.

#7 and #8 are my personal favorites. i love the golden sunlight reflecting off the foreground rocks, really makes for a pleasing pair of images. really nice!

Awesome set of pictures! I love sunrises/sunsets anyway but these really stand out from the rest. Just awesome!

I'm really flattered here, with such superlatives, and I thank you for your comments, mtngal!
I'm a sucker(softy) for sunsets and -rises as well, and most of my landscapes are. I can never get enough of them, really.

Great stunning pics, Walter, of a great stunning landscape!

I wish those rocks were made of cork I'd be bouncing around them all day long.

Thanks, vvcarpio - But if they really were made of cork, they would float away with the tide.....

Better to keep them in substantial granit-rock as they are now!
