thanks, I always like to thrown in the odd picture with my series. I keeps things interesting. Yeah, it was a very nice sunset, but it was taken with a p&s. The ones on film came out better.

thats just tough conditions for a p&s handheld. when you decide on your travel camera (cough cough ep2) that will be nice for these kinds of things.

Yup, really liking what I am finding about the ep2. 35mm marco lens with adopter 300, and the stock zoom or pancake. And my wife is good to go, it will easily fit in a purse or man bag.

I used to ride these jeepneys to work. Commuting was a nightmare during rush hour because there were just too many people. Males have the advantage over women because men ran faster so they always beat women in chasing jeepneys when they come to a stop to unload a passenger.

I, too, fought furiously to be first to reach the jeepney’s “estribo” (entrance at the back). (There are techniques to anticipating where a coming jeepney would stop and position yourself there a few seconds ahead of time.) And whenever I did get there first, being the gentleman that I was (ahem), I always looked at the crowd behind me to see if there’s a woman there and let her in to have the seat. I then hung on for dear life dangling my whole body outside the estribo as the jeepney sped away.

Sometimes, though, a jeepney driver would say, “Walang sabit!” (“No hangers-on!”)

So I get off and get ready to fight anew.

Very nice pictures! I like the orange sky cast between the blue-gray sea and clouds.
