Experienced a great fog this morning in Calgary and went for a drive.

I am not a big fan of black and white photography, but this one I like...classic compositional elements--very nice!

nice... i think would almost prefer this without the bridge, but it does add something to the image. great composition and tones.

nice perspective spy. i like the sharp contrast in the foreground leading to the highlighted areas. it makes this image unique and not just another shot down the road.

Great image, but I'm surprised you've used f2.8...
instead of trying to get the median lines into focus as well at the near end

Thanks for commenting everyone, there nice to read.

NHL, I had to shoot fast as there was no time to stop down the aperture and set up a tripod for the shoot. I was dealing with traffic you couldn't see coming down the hill behind me plus the layer of ice on the road was another factor for just getting in and out quickly so as to not cause any driver to have to react. Normally, of course, I would have stopped the traffic and made them wait till I was done with the shot but the laws of physics and cars still riding on bad summer tires on ice......for now, I give them the right of way.

I see your point though and agree that the other type of photo would have been better.
