Default Winter-landscape "By The River":

For once, we had sun and blue sky. A different challenge when shooting in these conditions is to meter for a good exposure, when the sun is bright, the snow is white and everything else is just fine, except a bit on the cold side.

'Strandpromenaden' in Fredrikstad on a sunny January-day! This is a HDR made from 5 exposures.

Camera = Panasonic LUMIX G1
EXIF onboard: f-stop = 8
Shutterspeed = 1/160"
Iso = 100
Focal Length = 14mm, which equals to 28mm in 35mm-terms.

The Mid-EV (middle-exposure) of the 5 exposures, for comparison:

Walter, nice balanced shot. the boats are offset nicely by the trees. good foreground. nicely done.

i am not sure if the aliasing i see in the rope in the foreground is coming from the HDR software or some kind of resizing, but you can probably either fix it or clone out the rope easy enough. you can see it a bit in the lines of the boat as well. (sorry i have to nitpick, its just my nature i guess)

Again a VERY nice shot Walter, the composition is really great! Sensational colors, it's a pleasure to see a sunshine-shot of Fredrikstad too

BTW: I went out shooting a panorama of my surroundings on Saturday morning with all your tips and informations in my mind - it came out very well, I'll post it ASAP

It is from the resizing, yes. I have cut a 100% crop of the original HDR and there is no aliasing. Don't know how to handle this then. Never had come across something like this before.
