Default Crystal Cove Sunset

Taken at a popular beach here in So. Calif. Canon 5D Mk II, EF 100-400L at 100mm, ISO 320, 1/400th, f/4.5.

Very nice Walter!! I'm not usually a fan of verticle sunset shots but this works for me, I like that little bird down there in the corner too!

You have framed this one very well. The lighting is all pleasing to the eye and it's nice having that bird working with you as well.

very nice. i like the vertical orientation, good sky, good water texture. the bird anchors it nicely.

Seems to be very unsusual to shoot sunsets in portrait orientation - but this one really works! The details and light are great, and the bird is the perfect anchor-point in this one - very nice

It's nice to look at pictures that have a "out of the box" angle and that also work, like this one. I liked it very much, but I couldn't quite make up mind if I did or did not before looking at it for a few minutes. Had it not been for the wading bird then the picture would have not caught my attention.
