One of my absolute landscape favourites from you. Great picture. Now that I write this I see the two lifting to fly (?) 6 cm from the left, 1 cm from the bottom and I see another species.

What kind of geese are they and what kind of Podicipediformes is it? The flock and that background . Beautiful x 2

Thank you both for your nice compliments.

Torgny, I looked very closely and all of the flying birds in the picture are Greater White-fronted geese (Anser albifrons).

Oh, I see the two you mean, still swimming under the flying birds. Those are a male (left) and female (right) Northern Pintail (Anas acuta) duck mated pair.

Top notch images. The one of the birds taking off in flight are about the best I've seen on this forum! Also, your overall use of light is very effective.
