Default NYC Skyline from Weehawken

My wife and I took pictures of the New York City skyline from across the river in Weehawken, New Jersey.

C&C welcome. Thank you for looking!

#1. View from Weehawken.

#2. Midtown.

I like # 2 better than #1. In #1, the skyline in the background, and the building in the foreground, both of which are strong subjects both compete for my attention. As a result I can't seem to decide which to look at. #2 on the other hand shows a clear bold image of the skyline with some river which accents the skyline nicely. The buildings look very colorful.

Very interesting and different view! I also like the more "close & personal" view in #2, but find both fascinating. Thanks for sharing!

I really like #2. A great NY by night. Lovely colours and composition. It's really nice with all those different colours and dark background.

#1, the building and car lights in the forground seems to catch my attention and the city in the background seems to evade my attention. It's the building in with the "Now leasing" sign you should be shooting from imo!
