Default Some sea scapes

I am not much of a landscape guy, but I try. I just don't have the eye for it and respect and admire those who do.
These are the San Pedro Tide pools.

For someone who doesn't have an eye for it you've done a good job here. I think the 2nd is the stronger of the two shots but both are nice.

jgredline,

There is a magnificent "bend" in this photo. Very strong movement. Excellent. And the movement is two ways. The cliffs striving away and the water getting closer and closer to the viewer, Not to mention the sky. Very well done

Addition. There is a strong point for the eyes to focus interest a bit to the left in the middle of the picture and a few millimeters up. It's important that there is such a point so that the eyes don' have to wander about searching for a place to rest. From that point the eyes can explore the picture in it's entirety

jgredline, are you kidding? These are terrific! I like the contrast of the second one more, although I like the first one, too. Both are dramatic to me.

Gotta endorse the comments from the others--these are terrific compositions--very classic landscape elements that make the eye travel deep into the image. Makes me want to step into the image and walk towards the water!

Agreed. Well done on both accounts. That second shot is great.
